Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as Strategic Solutions Manager at Product Line Radio within Business Area Networks.

 

What you will do:

 

In product line 5G RAN you will get a unique connection between engineering units, market areas, and customers. You will be able to follow a product through the complete life-cycle: from an idea in R&D, discussing it with customers, developing the product, and finally delivering it to commercial networks. We offer opportunity to influence across the company and through that build an understanding of where you want to grow and contribute further in your career

 

•    The team is responsible for shaping the formulation of business strategy and execution for product line 5G RAN, as well as securing RAN performance leadership of our products. We do this by bringing the outside in perspective, including operator, market and competitor intelligence. We stay close to the leading operators to understand how they will drive Ericsson technology roadmap. 

•    We are a new team, that is growing in both influence and strength. Being part of product line Cloud & Purpose-built 5G RAN, we work closely with strategic product managers across Product Area Networks.

•    As a team we’re all focused on ensuring that Ericsson has the best 5G RAN offering on the market for both purpose built and Cloud-RAN. And we are key stakeholders to secure continued market leadership and business success.

 

The skills you bring:

We believe you can challenge us in who we're looking for and have a motivation and interest in working in a research area within our industry, ideally with some relevant experience in mathematics and Technology.

 

In addition, we believe you have: 

 

•    Must-have: Master of Science in e.g. telecommunications, computer science or engineering physics. interest and ability to quickly understand new technology concepts. Business mind set. ability to build strong personal relationships.

•    Work closely with Strategic Product Managers, as well as other stakeholders in Business area networks, to evaluate Ericsson position and opportunities with new and existing technologies. Requires studies of technologies, how it will impact our customers, and Ericsson’s ability to monetize it.

•    Interest in experimentation and innovation with the ability to think creatively and be well adapted to change 

•    Knowledge of wireless communication, radio networks and AI & Machine Learning 

•    Experience of SW engineering or development with hands-on programming 

•    A global attitude and willingness to relocate internationally, with a desire and ability to work in a multicultural environment 

•    Keen interest to learn new things and to broaden experience 

•    Ability to collaborate, engage with and mobilize the organization to secure results 

•    Solid presentation and communication skills, and proficiency in English
