About this opportunity:

 

 As a Test Manager in PEU-RP you will as a technical leader drive and define test analysis of new 5G RAN features, for both Purpose built and Cloud RAN deployments, to secure the most efficient and effective test coverage, which ensures product quality and an optimized product flow. Additionally, you will continuously optimize legacy test coverage using several methods for an appropriate risk level. In this context, you will work closely with a wide network including other technical leaders, program organization, product owners, Systems/Design/Test/Customer Support teams etc., and play an active role in inspiring and educating the test community on test strategies and test practices, to secure all the assigned test activities across product test flow are within approved cost, time, and quality frame.

What you will do:

•    Drive Test Analysis work of 5G RAN features and products during study and development phases to set and communicate test scope on all levels

•    Support development teams to follow and adhere to test strategies to ensure timely and cost efficient test

•    Identify test tools impact and/or risks for new features and products and follow up the implementation

•    Identify and forecast test environment requirements

•    Secure that detailed test scope is performed during the execution phase to ensure test coverage and quality

•    Contribute to test strategies and new test methodologies to enhance test efficiency 

•    Educate and support the organisation on test strategy and efficient testing

 

Skills you  bring:

•    University education M.Sc/B.Sc in Computer science/Telecommunication/Electrical engineering or equivalent experience

•    Minimum 5 years of experience in 5G RAN development or deployment (e.g., from Systems, Design, Feature Verification, System Verification, CI/CD or Customer Support)

•    Good understanding of software development and testing processes, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies

•    Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English

•    Strong problem solving skills to devise innovative solutions for testing challenges and analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex issues

•    Ability to articulate and convey complex technical information effectively to stakeholders

•    Ability to lead a group of people and inspire and mentor testing teams

•    Ability to handle changing requirements and project scopes with a flexible mindset

•    Advantages for this position: Experience from Test Strategy work, Knowledge in AI and Machine Learning in test, Data driven test management, Next generation software development
