What you will do

We embrace Lean and Agile principles, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment. As part of our team, you will:

•    Conduct comprehensive verification of the top-level ASIC design.

•    Design, implement and execute testcases and drivers on system level for ASIC, where the test cases mainly are written in C.

•    Identify, document, and track the resolution of errors and discrepancies in the ASIC design by employing systematic debugging techniques, collaborating with design and verification teams to ensure effective communication and timely resolution.

•    Apply formal verification methods to rigorously prove the correctness of the ASIC design by developing formal models, specifying properties, and utilizing formal verification tools to identify and resolve potential design issues.

•    Perform thorough code reviews to ensure the quality, consistency, and correctness of the test cases, providing constructive feedback and collaborating with team members to promote best practices and adherence to coding standards. 

•    Perform hands-on verification of the ASIC design in a laboratory environment by setting up test equipment, executing test cases, and analyzing results to validate functionality and performance against specifications.

 

It is important to give fast feedback on the quality of the design for the projects. You will participate in daily and periodic agile meetings and continuously improve and optimize your work methods.

 

Skills You will bring

•    BSc or MSc level in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

•    Solid C programming skills targeting ASICs or other type of embedded software programming

•    Solid RTL debugging skills and in HW verification experience

•    Experience in VHDL and Verilog language

•    Experience in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Linux Shell scripting etc.)

•    Communication and presentation skills in English

 

Following experience will be a beneficial asset

•    Experience in Formal verification

•    Experience and understanding of hardware emulators

•    Knowledge about mobile communication standards

•    Knowledge about Embedded CPUs (ARM based)

•    Knowledge within UVM

•    Knowledge about several standard interfaces, such as Ethernet, I3C, SPI, SGMII, CPRI etc
